Ninness blitzes field to win fourth consecutive golf title

FOR the fourth consecutive year, Jodie Ninness holds the Wauchope Ladies Golf Club Championship crown, after a three round total of 240 gross.

The closest Div. 1 player to her was Lyn Kelly for the runner up with 257.

Inez Gavin led all the way with a final count of 285 to take out the Div. 2 Championship, with Fin Moorhead the runner up with 296.

In Div. 3 Rhonda Howard stormed home in the final round, overtaking Cindy Hale with 330 to Cindy’s 336.

The NTP’s on the 4th were won by B. White in Div. 1, F. Moorhead (Div. 2) and R. Howard (Div. 3). On the 18th, J. Borger, D. Anderson and M. Martin were the winners.

Twenty seven balls were distributed, and went to 78 nett.

On Friday 13th, twenty two players competed in an 18 hole Single Stableford. The winner was R. Kelso with 35 points, and the runner up went to L. Kelly with 33.

Ball winners were P. Smith, B. Taylor, K. Fowler, D. Anderson, J. Hudson, J. Ryan, L. Hobson and M. Butler.

Wednesday 25th will be a single stroke and the 3rd Medal Round.

Saturday business ladies: A full field of twenty players competed in a Single Stableford on Saturday 14th June in very windy conditions.

The winner was K. Molony with 33 points on a count back to K. Roods, also a count back to M. Moore for the 2nd runner up.

Balls went to K. Fowler, K. Knowles, J. Hudson, J. Hardy, C. Walker, D. Molony and P. Godfrey.

NTP’s were won by K. Roods on the 4th, and K. Molony on the 18th.

This coming Saturday is a 4BBB.
