SIX members of the Hastings District Pony Club achieved champion and reserve ribbons in their respective divisions during the Zone Hacking and Dressage event.
This was a fantastic result for the club and its members.
Georgia Leigh took out champion walk/trot; Junior Champion and Walk/Trot Overall Champion, Kiara-Lee Lane won the Novice Associate Reserve Champion while Jessica Prussing picked up the Senior Reserve Champion Preliminary.
Meg Fairburn took home the Junior Reserve Preliminary while Natalie Flanagan was named Associate Preliminary Champion and Overall Preliminary Champion and Mandy Clenton Associate Preliminary Reserve Champion.
Natalie also took out Highest Overall Dressage Score while Sam Clenton also won a 2nd in her Dressage test.
“Our club did a fantastic job with 6 out of 7 winning either a Champion or Reserve overall Champion,” said Natalie.
“Georgia Leigh had another outstanding performance on her pony Tim Tam. The future is very bright for our pony club with many talented riders in our ranks.
“Thanks to instructors who donate time to our training days, this is a tribute to their hard work.”
The Hacking section was another great day for Hastings members with Georgia Leigh taking out Champion Pony and Supreme Hack and Mandy Clenton won Reserve Champion Hack.
Congratulations to other member who competed with all riders having great success including Cassie Schmidt, Bec Tout, Natalie Flanagan, Kiara Lane, Jess Prussing and Sam Clenton.

Congratulations to Natalie Flanagan and Mr Retro who will be representing Zone 9 at the New South Wales Pony Club State Showjumping Championships at Cobargo July 12th & 13th.
